Description

The Science and Technology Park at the University of Girona has been established to attract, create and develop businesses – whether they be highly innovative businesses, technology and knowledge based spin-offs or start-ups, entities related with R+D and to foster interaction and relations among these agents and others of the area, as well as those between the Park and local stakeholders and the region at large. To achieve this in the short- and medium-term, the Park direction must create, develop and expand an attractive physical setting (buildings and adjacent land) and infrastructures in support of innovation and technology related research and services that lead to competitive advantages for knowledge based entities. The Park’s managing entity is the Science and Technology Park of the University of Girona Foundation, made up of representatives of the University of Girona, Girona City Council, the Girona Provincial Council, the Girona Chamber of Commerce, and the Federation of Business Organizations of Girona (FOEG).
