With Tecnoparc, Reus makes honor to its tradition of great producer and agro-alimentary center of distribution (oil, nuts, almonds ...) and it evolves towards the design, development and production of high added value foods with beneficial properties for the health of the consumers. Parc Tecnologic del Camp will offer a set of technological services that will go from the design of the functional food to the necessary studies for their launching in the market. The science park tries to foment the entrepreneur spirit in two strategic economic sectors as health and nutrition, through the technology transference, the incubation of biotech companies and the generation of clusters in this domain. The aim of Tecnoparc is to provide to the different economic operators the key tools which enable themselves to redefine their activities to the steady changes and challenges of the new economy.
